This is our story:
We design all the clothes in England, and then work with the skilled knitters and embroiderers in Peru to produce our clothes. You gain lovely children's clothes, and they gain valuable work.

First of all Sandra, our Director and Designer works up ideas, thinking about the colour palette and new decorative ideas. On the left is an example of how a design looks in the early stages.

Sandra then works with the knitting cooperative in Peru on the range of wools available - here the final colours are chosen for the new winter collection for 2007. Perhaps surprisingly, most of the actual knitting is done by the Peruvian men - this jumper is a combination of green and white wools. Then the women take over (don't they always!) - they are highly skilled at embroidery. Here they are working on the blue toy cardigans from the current range.
And here is how the clothes you can see being made above finally look:

Do YOU have anything you would like to see on one of our cardigans in the future for YOUR child? Email us your ideas from the Contact Us page on the site, and we will consider them for a future season!

Our range of traditional wooden toys and rag dolls
are all hand-made in Peru too. Here is Luis in his workshop finishing off some of the aeroplanes. These make a great home project to paint with watercolours and then ask Dad to hang it from the bedroom ceiling by a thread of cotton!

Hear what our customers have to say:
"I am emailing to say how delighted I am with the fairytales knitwear I ordered for my Granddaughter ..... I wish I had discovered you sooner!" (Mrs H, Glamorgan)
"Thank you very much for sending the two train jumpers so quickly, I am so pleased with them." (Mrs C, Bromley).
